Wera Plants was born from a lifelong love of nature. Its founder, Ramya Konuri, grew up on a tea estate in India, surrounded by gardens and forests that sparked her fascination with plants from an early age. Years later — after studies in Engineering, Psychology, and International Management — that same curiosity blossomed into a thriving Sydney-based plant business rooted in care, creativity, and connection.
Now, Ramya and her family share their passion through Wera Plants, offering a curated range of healthy indoor plants, succulents, and cacti — each one hand-picked and packed with care. Orders are shipped Australia-wide to all non-quarantine states, bare-rooted for safety during transit, with local delivery available to nearby suburbs. Every plant leaves the studio ready to brighten someone’s home, desk, or garden nook.
Beyond plants, Wera’s terrarium workshops have become a signature experience. Held every weekend, they offer individuals and small groups a calm, hands-on escape guided by the Wera team. The studio’s leafy, light-filled space also hosts creative collaborations with local artists, bakers, and makers — a nod to Ramya’s belief that community and creativity thrive best when surrounded by nature.
Wera Plants isn’t just a shop; it’s Ramya’s story made tangible — a place where family, passion, and greenery meet to help others find peace and joy, one plant at a time.
