Street Side Medics is a not-for-profit, GP-led mobile healthcare service providing free primary care to people experiencing homelessness.

Founded by 2022 Young Australian of the Year Dr. Daniel Nour, the service removes barriers to healthcare by visiting areas with high concentrations of homelessness and delivering care directly in the community.

The clinic operates from a fully equipped mobile medical van, staffed by RACGP-accredited general practitioners, offering health examinations, diagnosis and treatment, immunisations, minor procedures, pathology, nutritional advice, and referrals to specialists.

Additional allied health and specialist services including podiatry, cardiology, and gynaecology are provided pro-bono to patients.

Each Tuesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, the van visits Carevan Blacktown at Lalor Park Community Hall, making it easy for those in need to access quality care.

All services are bulk-billed, meaning there is no cost to patients.

Street Side Medics works closely with local services to ensure vulnerable Australians can get the care they need without the usual obstacles.
